We Need Your Support!
211 Big Bend is a 24/7 stigma-free and confidential hotline dedicated to providing emotional support, crisis counseling, suicide prevention, care coordination, and connection to critical services in our community including childcare and housing. 211 Big Bend has answered the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (988) for 14 counties in our area for years. Since the 988 rollout in July 2022 our call center volume for suicide, mental health and crisis support is up 40%. We need your support now more than ever. The Night of Hope will provide much needed funds to add additional hotline staff and build critical infrastructure to keep answering calls for people in crisis. To give you some perspective, our overnight weekend counselor, Shelley, who used to receive eight calls per night is now getting 15+ calls. Shelley and 211 Big Bend needs your support! The funds you donate to 211 Big Bend will be used to continue to connect our community to critical mental health services and resources.
