Did you know that in the US, suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States? It was responsible for more than 47,500 deaths in 2019, which is about one death every 11 minutes.
Join us in supporting suicide prevention. Learn about the issues or help a suicidal person seek help. Together, we can reduce the number of suicides in our community. In the Big Bend area, call Helpline 211 24-hours a day for free, private crisis counseling and suicide prevention assistance.
